3. Place the template over the back of the copper contact paper, trace the circle, and cut it out carefully with scissors or a craft knife.
4. Measure the height and circumference of the lazy susan side, then cut a long strip of copper contact paper to wrap around the outer edge with a slight overlap.
5. Peel back a few inches of the contact paper backing and center the copper circle on the top of the lazy susan, smoothing from the middle outward to avoid bubbles.
6. Trim any excess around the edge with a craft knife, then press firmly along the rim so the top looks clean and finished.
7. Apply the long copper strip around the side of the lazy susan a little at a time, smoothing as you go and lining up the bottom edge so the wrap looks even all the way around.
