6 small white cardboard gift boxes, about 4 inches x 4 inches x 2 1/2 inches each
1 roll double-sided tape, 1/2 inch wide
1 pair scissors
1 flexible measuring tape or ruler, at least 16 inches long
12 to 18 pairs of socks to sort and store

Instructions

1. Empty the drawer where you plan to use the organizer, then measure the inside length, width, and depth so you know your basket will fit comfortably.

2. Place the shallow woven basket inside the drawer to check the fit, and make sure it can slide in and out without catching on the drawer sides.
