Materials
1 small ceramic tissue box holder, about 5 to 5 1/2 inches square and 5 to 6 inches tall, with a top slot opening
Instructions
1. Wash the ceramic tissue box holder with the soapy water, then wipe it clean and dry it completely so the dryer sheets stay crisp and fresh.
2. Open the box of fabric softener sheets and remove the inner stack carefully so the sheets stay aligned rather than fanning out.
3. Compress the stack gently with both hands and slide it down into the ceramic holder, keeping the sheets as straight as possible so they dispense smoothly.
4. Feed the top corner of the first dryer sheet up through the slot opening, then pull it just high enough to grab easily without tugging out extra sheets.
5. Test the dispenser by pulling out one sheet at a time; if several come out together, remove the stack and tap it flat before reloading it a little more loosely.
6. Place the filled holder near the dryer or on an open shelf, with the slot facing forward so you can grab a sheet one-handed during laundry day.
