In a small laundry room, every inch has to earn its keep. This simple caddy project turns the space right over your utility sink faucet into easy, grab-and-go storage for your most-used cleaning sprays, and I love that it takes just a few minutes to set up while making the whole sink area feel calmer and more organized.
I’m always looking for practical fixes that help a busy home run better without adding a big weekend project, and this one is especially good if your counter edges stay cluttered with bottles. By using a metal shower caddy over the faucet, you keep glass cleaning bottles upright, visible, and close at hand, with a polished look that feels much tidier than a row of bottles lined along the sink rim.

Instructions
1. Empty the area around the utility sink and wipe the faucet, backsplash, and sink ledge clean so the caddy has a stable, non-gritty place to rest.
2. Dry-fit the chrome shower caddy over the faucet neck and center it so the hook sits securely while the shelves hang straight above the sink basin.
3. Stick one adhesive rubber bumper on each lower back corner of the caddy where it may touch the wall or faucet, then add the two short strips of waterproof tape to the back contact points if you want less sway.
4. Wrap the silicone straps around the caddy frame and faucet base or faucet neck to snug the caddy in place without scratching the metal, tightening just enough to stop shifting.
5. If your faucet is extra narrow or the caddy still wiggles, add the stainless steel zip ties behind the silicone straps as hidden backup support, trimming the ends neatly.
6. Fill each glass spray bottle with 12 to 14 ounces of your chosen cleaning solution, leaving a little headspace so the triggers work smoothly, then screw on the tops firmly.
7. Place the heaviest bottle on the bottom shelf and the other two on the upper or middle section, spacing them evenly so the caddy stays balanced and the trigger heads are easy to grab.
8. Check that the faucet still turns easily and that the caddy does not block the water flow, then make small adjustments until everything hangs straight and clears the sink comfortably.
9. Wipe down the bottles and chrome frame with a microfiber cloth for a clean finish, and keep the most-used spray at the easiest reach point for everyday laundry-room wipeups.
Variations & Tips
For picky-storage spaces: If your faucet sits close to the wall, choose a slimmer shower caddy with shallower shelves so the bottles do not bump the backsplash every time you reach in.
For heavier bottles: Use only two filled glass bottles if your faucet is lightweight, or swap one bottle for a smaller 8-ounce sprayer on the top section to reduce strain.
For family-friendly organization: Keep the everyday all-purpose cleaner on the most reachable shelf and place stronger specialty cleaners higher or farther back if you have children helping in the laundry room.
To prevent sliding: Rubber bumpers make a big difference in keeping the caddy from tapping against the wall, and they also help protect paint and faucet finish.
For a more polished look: Match all of your bottles in the same shape and size so the caddy looks intentional instead of cobbled together, which is my favorite little trick for making utility spaces feel nicer.
Easy cleaning tip: Once a week, lift out the bottles and wipe the bottom wires of the caddy so drips do not build up around the sink area.
No-drill bonus: This setup is wonderful for renters or anyone who does not want to put holes in laundry room walls but still wants vertical storage right where it is needed.
